first of all sorry for my bad english :-) There's a problem with my 1990 Volvo 440 electrical system - lost most of the electrical devices (front/rear lights, el. windows, blower, wipers, radio etc) while I was driving. At that moment these devices were switched

| What would it take to put an AIR BAG in a 1979 240? | 26 Oct 2004 22:05 GMT | 2 |
Does anyone have any experience or knowledge about retrofitting older volvos with a driverside air bag? I'm guessing it's possible- the latest models had them, right? You'd need a new steering wheel with the air bag- but what else?

| S70 No-start | 26 Oct 2004 18:15 GMT | 1 |
I have a 1998 S-70 Turbo that won't start. Fuel pump is working. Installed new plugs, cap, and rotor (originals had 75000 miles)It has a new ignition coil assembly, yet doesn't seem to be getting any spark. Possibly the crank sensor is bad? Or would it be more likely to be the ICM ...

| Stupid 740 Q's | 26 Oct 2004 08:40 GMT | 2 |
Got my ' 87 740 Turbo Wagon about a week ago. Nice car, runs well, about 260k on the body and 150k on the motor that came out of a smash up. Cool! So the tach doesn't work nor the temp gauge, so I figure they forgot

My 1995 Volvo 850 has a problem with the automatic transmission when starting from cold, with the fault becoming more problematical in cold weather. The orange arrow on the instrument panel starts flashing and the gearbox selects a low gear and will not auto-change up when the

| '90 940 2L GL Estate Replacement radio | 25 Oct 2004 21:53 GMT | 2 |
I just purchased this beast, what a great car. I would like to remove the cassette deck that is in there, but it is not a Volvo stardard head unit, it is made by Panasonic. Tried easing it out but it just does not want to come.

| ORIGINAL 14" HUBCAPS volvo 740/240 avaliable | 24 Oct 2004 20:26 GMT | 3 |
Lost one hubcap and got a new set of four. Now I got three original hubcaps (14") to get rid of. Get 1,2 or all 3. What is a fair price? $25 each? My new aftermarket set was $50 for all 4 and original is usually worth more right? Make offers, I am resonable, I just do not know what ...

| V50 AWD | 24 Oct 2004 15:51 GMT | 4 |
I test drove a V50 AWD today and WOW! A touch small for my needs (cargo area) but what a ride! I thought it drove better than a Jag X-type (AWD) I also tested this weekend. Not as cushy over bumps, but better acceleration and handling.

| 2001 XC70 opinions | 24 Oct 2004 03:58 GMT | 2 |
I am currently considering a "Certified" 2001 XC70 which will include a little less than 3 years of extended warranty. Are people generally happy with these, or are they in the shop a lot? What gas mileage could I expect for 55mph country driving (I drive like the old man I am)? ...

| XC90 FWD 2.5T - how do you like it? | 23 Oct 2004 15:45 GMT | 4 |
I am interested in the front wheel drive XC90 with the 2.5 T. I don't need the AWD -either the extra weight/gas mileage penalty or the additional maintenance issues. I was wondering who out there has this combo and how they like it or not.
