When engine is first switched on, the A/C works fine. In warm weather,
the A/C continues fine for 10 to 30 min, then cuts out, producing only
uncooled air. At that point, I turn off the A/C switch for 5-6 min, turn

As above, I will be replacing the OEMs with Bilstein TCs. I have already
purchased the matching shock mounts.
I have read about using extra washers - they say the single thick washer

My '88 240 wagon is having a weird problem with the dash lights, the
blinker arrows stay iluminated as does the high beam signal (not on)
and the rest is completley dark, my turn signals and high beams seem
to work fine but I can't see how fast I'm going and its kind of erie

I'm changing the rear discs on my 850 estate. Haynes states new bolts are
required for refitting caliper.Is this a definite and if so can you tell
me the size and if they are a 'volvo spare'

I recently took my 97 glt into the dealer for the recent recall.  They
told me that it was not in fact anything covered under the recall that
was causing my fuel to leak, and smell vapors in the cabin.  They told
me that it was a fuel level sensor.  Is this reasonable or are they

I only have one of the above working, as in turning the wiper motor.
How can I check for faults on the motor which is not working.
If its the motor is faulty I will probably disconnect both motors and not
use them.
