oil filter change  '99 s-7018 Nov 2004 00:31 GMT2
Is there some kind of procedure for doing this?

like a o-ring.
94 960: Cold mornings coolant warning light.....18 Nov 2004 00:25 GMT2
With recent near and below freezing morning temps, my 94 960 has been
burning its coolant level light on start up through warm up.  Once
warm..and once the car is restarted...the light goes away.

'92 Volvo 240 DL Gear Shifter Issue17 Nov 2004 23:34 GMT2
I've never had any problem with shifting to a particular gear with my 240
DL (automatic trans), but it seems that my shifter now fails to work
whatsoever. Previously when changing to a gear, one has to press the
shift-lock down and pull to "drive" position (for example), but now the

My brother's car has started acting up lately, according to him it happened
gradually. The engine is a B21F with K-jet and Lambda, idles very rough and
doesn't have much power (not that it was ever a hotrod but I've driven it
before and it used to be quite perky compared to now), ...

I really need some help!
I've got an '01 S60 T5 and it's got a 5 speed in it.  The clutch grabs

free play when the peddle is all the way out, but it isn't really
cheap spares in UK?17 Nov 2004 16:48 GMT6
I have a problem with the hydraulics in my S40 (97 - 1.8 manual) clutch.  I
believe I have a leak, but the garage couldn't find one.  They quoted me
?250 to fit new primary and master cylinders, or ?130 for the parts alone.
I was wondering if anyone knew of a cheap retailer in ...

Daughter has a '95 850 Turbo Volvo, 165,000 mi. She's not mechanical. My
mechanic, whom I trust, says transmission fluid is "scorched" and is
"banging gears."
What is the life expectancy of this transmission? What is the cost to

240 - oil pressure switch?16 Nov 2004 01:49 GMT4
Does anybody know the approximate pressure the oil pressure switch activates
in the 240's? (i.e. what does the oil pressure have to be to extinguish the

I'm sorry this is a rather silly question, but I don't have my technical
Rim informations15 Nov 2004 23:18 GMT2

sell them - but need to know the spoke size and main hole size.
How would I find this out.  All I know is the tire into (above) but
My tire/tyre recomendation for 85015 Nov 2004 21:55 GMT8

I was running a set of Michelin MXV4+ Energy tires and I thought they were
really good at first, very exspensive V rated tires... but soon I learned
