horn problems - Achilles Heel10 Dec 2004 01:33 GMT16
I have a 1993 460 GL 2.0. The horn occasionally works, giving out a very
weak "bleep", which causes people to laugh and flip me off rather than
getting the hell outta the way. Because I do not have a garage, I regard
this as a spring project as I think the horn is located just above ...
No voltage at air pump09 Dec 2004 14:38 GMT6
Okay, I'm attempting my $20 replacement air pump fix on my 1997
850GLT.  Basically, I found a surplus all-aluminum 12VDC blower, with
(surprisingly) very close to the right size input/output ports to the
original emissions air pump on the car.

'93 850 GLT Engine quitting09 Dec 2004 12:40 GMT1
I have a new to me 93 850 GLT 5-speed and sometimes the engine will just cut
out.  No warning, no chugging, just off.  After a minute or so, it will
start again.  I've found no pattern to when it's happening, sometimes once
in 800 miles, then 5 times in one day.  Always restarts ...

If you have any experience with a non-Volvo extended warranty provider
could you please reply.   I am considering two different providers
(Warranty Warehouse and Warranty America) and could use some feedback
before signing up.
Weird one - '89 245 / 283K09 Dec 2004 02:01 GMT3
Okay, the original radio in my wagon finally died last week, so I went
to the local "baseball cap on backwards car stereo store" for a
replacement. They installed a base model JVC AM/FM/CD unit and two new
speakers and I was on my way.
Replacement Console Cover08 Dec 2004 20:41 GMT4
I have a 1994 940 turbo and I wan to replace the console cover. I
remember seeing a replacement cover with cup holder. Does anyone know
where I can purchase one, in grey to match my interior?
V70 engine fails to start08 Dec 2004 20:02 GMT6
My '00 V70 won't start. When turning on the ignition to position III,
(all the lights on the front panel turns on as normal when reaching
position II), the start engine just refuses to start. Instead there is
a loud "click" from the engine. The battery voltage is measured to
740 for sale08 Dec 2004 19:58 GMT1
I have a 1988 740 turbo wagon black for sale.  We are moving to North
Carolina in January and I must get rid of it.  It runs strong has a new
battery and tires but needs brake work and some body. Very little rust but
my wife did have a meeting with a pole in a parking lot on the ...

Just got back from NorthBay... where it was snowing quite a bit, i've never
had such trouble driving a car in my life... Tried the W button and it
