Have not been here for a while.. but just turned 93K miles on my car.. only

I started drinking07 Dec 2004 22:22 GMT4
So I can be drunk when the mail gets here and then I'll be good and
boozed up for when I start drinking.
She tells me I stagger pretty vicious when I combine that med with
booze, well I say good. That's sort of what I was shooting for.
VND64T.  Utter trash07 Dec 2004 17:01 GMT6
Least comfortable vehicle I've ever had the displeasure to have been
unable to avoid driving.
Sleeper curtain can't keep the light out, curtain nearly six feet tall,
has only four tabs of velcro two inches long by one inch wide.

The SRS light is constantly on in my 88 Volvo 760.
I looked at the fuses and relays and all seems fine.
Even put new fuses but the light still stays on.

940 turbo leaking07 Dec 2004 03:23 GMT12
My 95 940 2.3 Turbo had a bit of a leak which has now expanded to extreme
swallowing of water.  In the morning there is a wet patch on the join
between manifold and Turbo.  This morning I tried some radweld, but on the
way home on a motorway journey the cooling system almost ...
760 two-piece to one-piece stereo change06 Dec 2004 21:51 GMT3
I'm looking to put a CD-Receiver unit into my 760 but the existing
system occupies two slots (top for Receiver, bottom for Cassette).
Since anything I get will occupy only one slot, where can I find a
cover for the other slot? The dealership came up empty and I don't
Rear Hatch latch open/close sensor on 1998 V7006 Dec 2004 19:32 GMT1
Apparently the rear hatch latch has a sensor in it that tells the dash if
the latch is open or closed. My second one has just failed in 3 years and at
$200 cdn a pop it seems excessive when the latch itself works great.
Is there some way to just repair the sensor instead of the ...
760 Cabin Air Filter06 Dec 2004 03:36 GMT4
I am now the proud owner of a 1988 760 GLE.
And, of course, I have a question: not long ago there was a thread
here regarding blocked-up filters that were meant to clean the air
that was drawn into the passenger cabin (pollen filter?). Does the 760
760 intermittent wont start just cranks06 Dec 2004 03:12 GMT2
Does anyone have a solution or experience of this problem?

Does anyone know of a wrecking yard in the SFBA that  specializes in Volvos?
Thanks much, Brad
Oil Blow - Flame Trap Clogged? B230FT (940 Turbo)05 Dec 2004 22:25 GMT8
I looked at my wife's engine (B230FT - USA 1994 940 Turbo) today and noticed
quite a bit of oil around the oil fill cap, and the trail of it running down
the valve cover and off the back end of the engine. Since I had the oil
changed a few days ago I figured it could be from a ...

I am having a major problem with the alarm and immobiliser system on my 940

Is there anyway to bypass the system, and if so how?
Fuel Cover Locked on 850 199505 Dec 2004 13:51 GMT4
Hi I have a rather urgent problem.
I dropped in a petrol station yesterday to fill up and the fuel filling
cover is locked.  I have tried every way i know to lock and unlock the
central locking (using the keyfob remote, using the door/boot locks) and
XC70 2003 Sunroof leak?05 Dec 2004 05:24 GMT5
Has anyone experienced a water leaking problem with the 2003 XC70 Sunroof.
The car is still under warranty so I am sure the dealer will look at the
problem.
I am just trying to get an idea of whether the problem is common or unique.
Got my cool high-mileage badges from Volvo05 Dec 2004 04:31 GMT14
You can just call Volvo, give them your VIN and vitals and they send you a
badge for every 100K miles you've got on your car.  Pics below.
