Woo-hoo! Got my 100K mile medallion yesterday. Looked at the back of it and saw the double-sided tape. SAY WHAT?!?!@? So, where do you put it and how sturdy is the tape? Or should I do a bit of soldering and put a wire loop on the back.

My '01 S-40 (89K Miles) has a check engine code P0700 - Transmission control system malfunction. Can anybody enlighten me about what this might mean? The car drives fine and the only thing it's doing (other than the light) is that the transmission mode arrow keeps flashing.

Dear Sirs, my Volvo 940 - 1994 automatic transmission was recently serviced and a new gasket kit replacement done and oil filled. However, now the automatic gear doesn't change-up. It sticks in the 2nd gear only. The workshop is now recommending a transmission box overhaul!

When a 740 is started from cold and left to idle how long does it take for the system to start to receive pressure, 20 seconds 30 seconds. If the engine is then stopped after one minute would there be pressure at the pressure cap on the cooling reservoir
