My ETS warning light came on after driving through the cold weather for
about 5 minutes tonight (F 10 degrees).  After a couple of minutes the
Check Engine sign also came on and the engine started to sputter.
Overall, the engine now fluctuates between 900 RMP and 1300 RMP when idle ...

Just noticed while I had the glove box out that the hinge that moves
the external air exclusion flap in and out on my '93 854 has broken.
Not a big problem since I rarely it anyway, but I clearly want to make
sure it remains in a permanently open position (ie, letting air in).

A very tricky car to work on, as this model is almost nonexistent!  It
idles so high, I don't want to put it into gear.  The idle adjuster is all
the way down.  A mechanic told me I may need a temperature sensor, which
may not be available.  Any ideas anyone?

I've noticed that sometimes when in a parking lot with the engine
running the engine will rev up a little, the RPM needle will jump from

This may be a tired question on this forum.  I am a new owner of a 1994 940T
(B230F Engione).  I do not know the vintage of the timing belt on this car
(with 104K), but before I plunk down $500 to replace it, I would like to
know - for certain - if this engine has an interference ...

My 2000 Volvo S80 stalls when I slow down. For Example, if I'm
driving at highway speeds and slow down because of traffic the rpms go
