My 1998 S70 have 80K miles, and I've been told that my front rotors need
replacing. So, I'll be doing that soon, and I figure it's time for the
brake pads too. I've gotten the standard Volvo pads up to this point, but
I'm wondering if it's time to switch.

My '93 850GLT has suffered some horrendous repairs in the past 5 years and
from searching the archives it would seem that the problems I've had are
fairly typical (auto transmission and A/C).  Now I am sorting out whether to
keep the car or stop the bleeding by trading for ...

My '93 850 clutch is about gone at 165,000 miles. I have quotes for parts of
about $400 which includes resurfacing the flywheel and a clutch slave
cylinder. What is the "book" time to replace the clutch, or what you think
is a resonable price?

My 1996 850 turbo automatic (138k miles) has suffered the dreaded
'odometer stopped working' malady. I might add the trip odometer stopped
as well. The rest of the instrument panel works perfect. Speed, boost,fuel

Which is really too bad, because I both love it and didn't really want to

OK I just had a weird problem with my 1998 Volvo S70. I got in the car
and put the key in, turned it over but the engine didn't start. I don't
think the battery is dead since the dash lights up, stereo turns on,

Need some help with my New C70 upgrading from a SC-816 to SC-901;
1. I have a 2001 C70 Hardtop with the HPT but only the single CD SC-816 does
my car have the Dynaudio Speakers?
2. How many should there be? I don't seem to have the center.

I've got a 1997 Volvo S40 with sc801 radio. Last week i've ordered a
Alpine chm-s630 + vola2 interface adaptor. Seems to be all quite simle
to install exept the red en yellow wire from the adaptor which have to
be conected to a constant 12v power source and a switched 12v supply.
