Is the sunroof switch supposed to be illuminated? I recently purchased
this car and there is no light for this switch. I took it out and
checked it but it is kinda hard to tell. Any info would be appreciated.

Hi all. Checking my wife's oil a little over a month ago and I noticed
a milky mixture on the dipstick. The milky mix stays above the oil
level and does not appear to contaminate the oil. The oil stays clean,

Looks like the catch on my 240 has given up the ghost. The cable pull moves
back and forth but nothing happens. I've tried having someone lean on the
bonnet while I try and pull to no avail. Does anyone know how to get in
there without doing too much damage?

The drivers door on my wife's 1992 240 is getting  hard to open from the
outside.  You have to lift the handle about as far as it'll go before it
opens.  It feels like the mechanism or cable has worn or stretched to close
to it's limits; is this an easy fix?

Is there a quicker way to input the unlock code into a V70 radio than
having to wait two hours with the ignition on?  I thought I knew the code
but obviously didn't and now according to the manual I have to wait for
another two hours with the radio switched on, is the two hours ...

My 1981 240 (actually a 244) ate it's fuel distributor
and I've decided not to fix it.
It's been replaced with a 1991 940 Turbo that my
mechanic had for sale.

I have a 84 240 GLE and am considering taking off the viscous coupling fan,
and replacing it with an electric fan mounted at the end of the radiator
cowling.  Has anyone done this mod?  Anything to look out for?
