I have bought a V70 Which was first registered in October 2001.
I have now been advised that based on the service book the car is a 2002
model, is this possible and if so how.

Two questions.
1.

I'm having trouble opening the bonnet using the white plastic latch in
the driver's compartment.  Does anyone know how to fix this or get the
bonnet open another way?

I have just bought a V70 after owning a 740.
When it comes to making tight turns it appears as though the turning lock on
the V 70 is a lot less than on the 740, am I correct.

My daughters 93' 940 wagon seems to have a brake pedal that changes height.
It seem to start stopping the car lower in the range than than usual. here
is the weird thing . It only does this occasionally.
I checked for vacuum leaks and have disconnected the brake vacuum booster

My car is a 2000MY V70 2.5D - UK spec. (old shape).
For the past couple of days the alarm status indicator (just behind the
bottom centre of the windscreen) flashes furiously for a few seconds every
time the ignition is turned on - and then settles down ok.
