I have a 1990 740 and I wanted to change the power steering fluid.In
the manual it says to use type F fluid.I couldn’t find type F fluid
anywhere.What should I use for power steering fluid?Thank you!

After going through 3 Starters in two years, my Volvo dealer remembered a
similar case where a lady with a 950 had a similar problem.
Starter would just go "Click"
Hitting the starter would start it on the next try.

I had my breaks inspected and was told I need new pads and rotors. Is is
possible to have new pads installed without the rotors being changed at
the same time? I'd like to install new pads now and new rotors in another
1000 miles. If it's possible, would it be safe?

One day, I noticed that the tailgate didn't lock when I locked the
rest of the doors, via remote, or key.  So, I locked the tailgate with
my key.  
Some time later, I noticed that the remote was NOT locking the doors.

The headrest is driving my wife crazy.
On a 2004 V70 2.5T with the WHIPS system her head is constantly
in touch with the head rest while she is looking straight ahead
or touching her cheek when she turns her head.

I have a '92 240 ith 142K miles.   I bought it with about 65K miles.  It's
noticeably looser and clunkier up front than it used to be.  Nothing too
dramatic; just feels like bushings or the equivilant might be wearing out.

Last year, I brought my car in for a routine service to the dealer (even
though it's a 1987 240DL wagon Volvo, it's been maintained all these years
by the dealer), and they told me that the "trip odometer button fell into
the dash" during the service, but not to worry about it. ...

Thinking about buying one of these but really concerned about the
mileage - 148,000 on 1.6 engine. should i be or is there anything
specific i should be checking out? :D

My 87 Volvo's overdrive is not working (hasn't worked since I bought it
3 months ago).  Apart from that, the transmission is working
flawlessly.  It does not miss a beat.  I'd like to know what your
thoughts are on getting the overdrive fixed.  Is it worth tinkering
