When I bought my '98 V70 from a small dealer they put all new brakes on the
front ... but the pads have been squeeling really bad ever since - as is, a
couple of months now!  Always at low speed, e.g., 3 mph, or so.  I assume
that the dealer (not a Volvo dealer - just a used car ...

Have a problem with this F reg 740.
When the engine gets really hot the brakes start coming on.
It a bit of a problem when my wife is sitting in a queue wait to get
into legoland.

I have a 940s estate and have seen an 850auto with all the bells and
whistles up the road in the garage for sale.
Its a "P" reg and he wants £3500 for it.

I looked at a 1993 940 Turbo today. It was very clean, had high miles,
162,000. It handled ok. But I have a couple of concerns.
1.  It's a turbo.

You said change the plugs. This car starts once in a great while but when
it does it runs great smooth as new its has to be the ecu or a short to the
computer but the test light shows power and the ground are clean. there is
no bad spots on the board that i can see ???????????

my drivers door will no longer open with the key, its just stuck. ive
tried spraying some lubricant in there but it seems obviously broken.
at present i have to open the passenger door, then reach across and
pull up the door lock knob on the drivers side.

can anyone recommend a replacement seat, i am not interested in rebuilding
or recovering the old seat and i drive quite a bit, so i need something
supportive and comfortable for long drives.

I spoke with a representative at Volvo in the United States.  They have no
record of this Volvo order number.  Either this manual is very rare or
possibly was never officially marketed in the United States.  The
representative with whom I spoke said there was no manual with this ...

My 98 V70 came with 195 65 X 15 rubber.  I have been offered some 195
55 X 15 snow tires.  I guess they are the same width but lower.
Will this be a problem for my car?

To anyone who can help me- I have a '91 740 Turbo. Lately it has bee

took the car to one Volvo mechanic who said it was the fuel pump relay
