I have a '92 240 GL that keeps giving me a 2-1-2 code on my computer and turns on the check engine light. I changed the oxygen sensor and the light came on again. Thought maybe it was a fluke, so I reset the codes and drove for a couple days. It came back on. Anybody have any ...

| 2001 S60 worn rod links | 21 May 2005 16:02 GMT | 1 |
With just under 40k miles, I've had the rod links front and back replaced b/c they were worn and the suspension was rattling. This is my first Volvo, bought new in 2001, and I thought they were quite durable cars. Is this usual wear for this car?

| S70 Timing Belt | 21 May 2005 04:16 GMT | 3 |
My dealer says the new timing belt interval for my '99 S70 is 105,000 miles. Does anyone know why it has been extended? Have improvements been made in the tensioner and/or belt? My 240 called for the belt every 50k miles, so that's what I'm used to...

Ladies and Gentlemen, a question. My partner, Jhabelle, wants me to buy a Renault 12. I think however that the Volvo 265GLE is the ultimate lesbomobile. Smooth, quiet, and with a great surge of power between my legs (yes, I drive whilst seated on the gear lever, and yes, i prefer ...

| 1998 volvo front end noise | 20 May 2005 21:11 GMT | 4 |
My 1998 S70 has developed a noise coming from ( I think) driver's side front tire area. It sounds like a piece of plastic stuck to the tire and changes rythym as I speed up and slow down. It stops on a turn or if I go over a bump. Lokked for anything stuck in between the treads.

Can't figure what to do now - Napa cable seems too short, their supplier checked all batches and another manufacturer and the total length is 42 1/4 " in length. Repair shop struggled to attach it to fork with rubber block bushing and the heavier steel block and the pedal engages ...

| S70 timing belt coming off/out | 19 May 2005 13:27 GMT | 3 |
I have a 1998 S70 T5. Tonight the car started making a rattling sound, and it's coming from the timing belt. As I drove, it was pretty quiet when not in idle. When stopped at a light, it was much louder. When I finally came home, I noticed that the belt was coming out of the
