Mileage for a '98 V70 GLT+31 Jul 2005 23:38 GMT4
I've had a '98 V70 GLT since last September.  I've tricked it out with
an IPD ECU upgrade, free-flow exhaust, sway bars, cross brace and
drilled rotors.  It's a bunch of fun.
Usually I get mileage in the low 20s around town, seems that I have a

I try to charge my phone but after about 20 seconds it stops, no problem

I have a 1995 440 1.8 si. Last week the alternator died, which meant
the battery drained during a journey, and I was unable to start the car
after stopping for petrol. I recharged the battery, but found that my
main key fob was now unable to lock/unlock the doors.. although the key
Dumb 850 question...31 Jul 2005 01:45 GMT5
We have a '94 850. We had the car parked for awhile, and went to drive
it last night. However, nobody can seem to remember if the LCD clock
and thermometer are supposed to light up. Can any 850 owners out there
help? I've taken out the guages before, and it was no simple task, so
850 AC - A different problem?30 Jul 2005 20:15 GMT24
The AC on our '96 850 (with fancy climate control) works great for about
5-10 minutes after you turn it on, after which it blows warm air.
The dealer couldn't find any leaks after injecting dye into the system and
looking for it under UV.
Navigation $$$$$30 Jul 2005 17:45 GMT2
We recently purchased a used S70 that came with a Navteq navigation system.
Only one city (Vancouver) was loaded on it. The local Volvo dealer wants
$380 (Canadian) for the Edmonton CD! Are they kidding me!?

Hi, all.
I have a '91 940se turbo estate with 178k on her, which over the last 8
years has been an absolutely wonderful car. Doesn't owe me a penny, the only
real expense being a replacement head 18 months ago. About 6 months ago it
'87 740T Injection problems30 Jul 2005 01:05 GMT2
From my trouble shooting I have found the reason number 4 cylinder isn't
working is that it has the wrong voltage. Testing it I found it to be
way low. Unfortunately I haven't found my manuals since I moved. Any
suggestions as to where to start hunting? I replace the whole harness 4
Tire Rumble29 Jul 2005 16:02 GMT10
This started a week ago.  I get a loud rumble coming from the tires at
highway speeds.
Rumble increases in pitch and volume according to car speed, engine
rpm's do not affect it.

Dumb question about "Check Engine" light.28 Jul 2005 22:47 GMT3
Last weekend I cleaned the throttle body on my '95 850 wagon (a.k.a. estate
car). In doing so, I disconnected then reconnected a few items that were in

Engine" light came on and stayed on whenever the ...
