1986 240 dl cylinder head replacement13 Jul 2005 03:49 GMT4
I called a volvo specialist shop this morning about replacing the cylinder
head on my 1986 240 dl. He said that volvo does'nt make the cylinder heads
for 240s any more, he said that the best thing would be to have a machine
shop repair the damaged part.

re: 93 Volvo AC and rear wiper question12 Jul 2005 14:29 GMT1
AC is stil running well 12 days after service and recharge (better
than last time as we have had 13 days over 90 degrees and high
humidity, but only had one last Summer.)
Anyway, in town the temp out of the vent is 52 to 54 degrees farenheit
1994 850 rear main seal12 Jul 2005 14:22 GMT1
I just purchased a 1994 (late) 850 (non Turbo) with 184,000 miles and
the rear seal leaks worse than a sieve (at least a sieve would slow it
down). I plan on doing the fix myself. Is there any tricks/tips/hints
that someone could give me that will save me time/skin/frustration in
Ford RPMs (a mind of its own)12 Jul 2005 14:09 GMT2
We have a 1992 F150 with a 5.0 fuel inj. with 164000 miles on it. The
problem is the rpms, it will rev up on its own to as much 2200 rpms,
sometimes while at a stoplight, or going down the road, most of the time
when shifting (4sp w/od),when it is doing this, there is a lack of ...
'86 245DL Fuse Box Location / Wiper problem12 Jul 2005 13:52 GMT4
I just bought a 1986 245DL. When I got it, the wipers weren't able to
park by themselves. Yesterday, they stopped working all together. The
washer fluid, rear wiper and horn all work fine.
I would like to check the wiper fuse but I cannot find the fuse box.
Looking at 90 240 Wagon low kms11 Jul 2005 21:16 GMT17
I'm shopping for a wagon.  Would prefer getting a Camry wagon (92-96)
but they are quite scarce around here.  Found a 90 240 wagon being sold
by a dealer who picked it up at an auction.  Just over 100,000 kms!
Body was rust-proofed so is quite good, no major rust showing anywhere.
S70 A/C problem (Mike F?)11 Jul 2005 21:03 GMT3
Mike, fellow Volvo experts.....
Car is a 98 S70 with manual air conditioning, which today was re-gassed as
it was working but not very well with the compressor cycling every 15-20
seconds,- probably upon instructions from the low pressure switch.
Shocks for 2033 V7011 Jul 2005 17:46 GMT2
I am going to replace the shocks in my 2003 V70 this weekend.  Have
purchased Bilstiens HD and was wondering if there are any 'gotchas'

Thanks for any help.
Advice please11 Jul 2005 15:13 GMT1
We have a 97 850 non turbo we are happy with, and a 91 Acura Integra that's
getting old.  I am getting tired of the Acura as well, so I am thinking of
replacing it.
I am considering:
