Help! My 1989 740 Turbo sedan began revving this week. Say I'm at 2K
RPM, then I let off the gas. As soon as it hits 1K RPM, it revs back up
to 2K, then back down, then back up.

OK so the alternator went bad in my 85 Volvo 240 GL.  Went to the wrecker,
and found two 240s, an 81 and an 84.  My 85 is a B230F engine, these were
both B21s.  I did take the alternator from one of them, and put it into my 85,
and it seems to work fine.  THere was a size difference ...

I set my idle on my 940 tubro, 1992 to 900 rpm and it is adjusting

Does anyone know what the speaker in the center of the dash on an '01
S80 is for? To the best of my knowledge it's not used by the stereo,
and I don't believe the '01 S80 had an option for any kind of
entertainment package that would necessitate a center channel.

My front cigar lighter only works for around 20 seconds then shuts off, I

740. The #4 15 amp fuse is good and the back up lights work. Any help would
