IPD25 Aug 2005 22:36 GMT20
Just placed my first order with IPD-USA. After all checkout completed the
very last confirmation screen included a "handling fee" that had not been
mentioned or otherwise shown earlier in the checkout process. Granted it was
nominal but on my order still was greater than 5% of the ...

Is it the rpm sensor or the cam location sensor on my 94 85025 Aug 2005 15:27 GMT2
Standing beside the driver front wheel, I look at the engine block.
Just to the right and above the distributor is a round cover held on
with two screws, with a single wire that goes towards the distributor.
Is this the cam location sensor that you get a heat failure with (car
V70XC intermittent problem with instrument panel25 Aug 2005 13:44 GMT1
Hello, I hope that somebody has had this same problem (with a solution),
because it's just the kind of thing that can result in replacement of all
sorts of good parts. The problem is with my '99 V70XC. Fairly often, in fact
way too often, the following occurs: The ABS light and ...
is the mileage in my new S60 2.5T too low?25 Aug 2005 05:59 GMT3
This is a re-post; I asked the same question in some thread and I guess
it didn't get much visibility.
I seem to average just about 21 mpg in my new S60 (mostly freeway,
moderate traffic). The car barely has 1000 miles on it and I know that
240 starting problem in hot weather25 Aug 2005 04:53 GMT7
My 1990 240 with 155,000 miles on it has suddenly developed a
reluctance to start when the weather is hot- 80s and above.  It seems
to not be getting sufficient fuel during startup, as giving it a little
gas gets it to start.  Idle is a little lopey for a few seconds and
01 S60 air conditioning blower25 Aug 2005 01:47 GMT1
I have exactly same problem for '01 S60 that I recently bought. The inside air circulation fan sometimes is running when I back to my car.
940 Turbo Gas Mileage - Air Cleaner Case24 Aug 2005 23:12 GMT2
I wrote several months ago about the miserable gas mileage I get from my
1994 940T (automatic) Wagon.  I still get about 14-16 Miles per Gallon in
the city and up to 22 MPG on the highway.  This is far below expectations,
and feedback from the group suggested that something was ...
Volvo 960 rear looks wheel like heavey load24 Aug 2005 20:47 GMT3
Hi all;
I notice the rear wheels are quiet close to the wheel arch as though
there is a
big load in the car, the car is fitted with wide wheels that I think
100W high beams in '98 V7024 Aug 2005 17:46 GMT5
I just installed some 100W H7 high-beam bulbs in my '98 V70.  I'm a
bit concerned about the current capacity of the wires.  Has anyone had
any problems doing this?
Thanks.

Volvo 240 warning light24 Aug 2005 17:23 GMT5
My Dad recently brought a second hand 1992 Volvo 240se.
It has a red warning light on it with a black triangle.  This lamp is solid
and not flashing.  We bought a Haynes manual but it doesn't seem to have
this warning lamp described in it.  Can anyone please advise what this lamp
Volvo S60: Towing a Trailer24 Aug 2005 13:31 GMT3
I am considering purchasing a Volvo S60.  I want to use it to tow a
boat occasionally (3-4 times a year).  The boat, motor & trailer will
weigh between 2,500 and 3,000 pounds.  (The S60 is rated for towing up
to 3,300 pounds.)  The trailer will have brakes (as required by the
'94 850  Auto Gearbox question24 Aug 2005 10:21 GMT2
The auto gearbox on my 1994 Volvo 850 20v GLT gets lazy when it's been
standing for a few days; it doesn't want to shift up when I drive away,

box shifts up as normal, and when I then change back to the normal ...
