| Where can I find info on older model Volvo's? | 18 Sep 2005 21:09 GMT | 5 |
I'd like to get the C70 convertible.. Is there a site where I can look at the models, features, etc, from 2000 and up? I saw one in my price range, and believe it or not, it would be a lateral move selling (hopefully) selling our 97 e320 and buying the 2000 C.

| Can't identify engine from VIN | 18 Sep 2005 02:04 GMT | 7 |
I've done some online research into finding engine information from my 1989 740 GLE's VIN plate but, presumably because it's a UK car, it's not found by the VIN decoding sites I know of. The problem seems to be that instead of letters after the YV1 prefix it has numbers.

| Couple a' S80 questions | 17 Sep 2005 10:45 GMT | 3 |
How difficult is it to replace the bulbs or LEDs backlighting the center console on an '01 S80? The lights around my drivers side temperature controls are dead, and it's buggin' the hell out of me. There is often a clunking sound from the rear end when going over bumpy

| still having problems with my 240 | 17 Sep 2005 02:05 GMT | 18 |
My 1990 245 still has a problem. It was running a bit rough, but getting good mileage and had good power and response. Then one morning it had a problem. It hesitates at throttle opening and is low on power, but runs fair above about 2000 rpm, but still hesitates a

My 240's performace is degrading, and I haven't even had it on teh road for a week. Been trying to run down a problem, but no luck. SYMPTOMS- it will start, rev to 2000 rpm, stay there for a bit, then either die, or when warmed up a bit the RPM drops from teh 200 point

| AMM - more Q's | 17 Sep 2005 02:03 GMT | 3 |
I am about to order an AMM but thought I would try a few more things and ge some 'final' opinions from you folks. The cheapest rebuilt is about $160, and for that much I can do a lot of typing! ;-) I wanted to isolate the effects of the IAC valve and related parts to

| License Plate Light Cover Removal | 16 Sep 2005 22:32 GMT | 1 |
How the heck do you get the license plate light covers off? Mine just failed inspection partly because of that. I have a new bulb ready to go, just can't get the cover off. I wasn't going to pay the dealer $50 to do it, that's for sure. I have a 740 Turbo sedan.

| air vents cut out under load | 16 Sep 2005 15:01 GMT | 7 |
When accelerating or climbing a hill, the climate control of my '93 960 changes from the dash vents to the floor vents until the vacuum rebuilds. I have searched and searched for a vacuum leak. Both black/white vacuum check valves on the firewall have been replaced. The cruise ...
