most diesel handbooks tell you that it is O.K. to put up to 25% petrol in the diesel over winter to prevent 'waxing up' at low temperatures. Does anyone have figure for how much (if any) this reduces the MPG? If I could cut my diesel with 3* unleaded without suffering loss of MPG or

| Volvo 850 Remove Steering Wheel/ Horn | 18 Oct 2005 11:16 GMT | 2 |
I need to check the condition of the horn connections inside the steering wheel. Could anyone give me some instructions on how to get to the connections? I can't see a way of either removing the front panel of the steering wheel or the steering wheel itself.

| Electronic keys & getting stranded. | 18 Oct 2005 07:16 GMT | 4 |
When I test drove an 05 V50 T5, I noticed that the ignition "key" was a large lump consisting of the remote unlocking transmitter, and a squarish plastic extension that inserted in a socket in the dash. Obviously, the ignition lock function is electronic now, instead of

| Question on 740 air mass meter | 18 Oct 2005 03:21 GMT | 2 |
I have an 89 Volvo 740 GL non-turbo 8-valve sedan. Hard to start, barely runs unless you give it a lot of gas.... when you put it in drive it stalls right away. In neutral or park, it won't idle at all, you have to hold some accelerator all the time, or it will stall. I

| 1994 Volvo 850 stalls, slow restart...with a wrinkle | 17 Oct 2005 06:45 GMT | 10 |
I have a ’94 Volvo 850 and a while ago it started stalling. It has a bit of a rough idle that has improved a little with non-ethanol fuel and fuel injector cleaner. I honestly don’t know if that is related to the main problem.

| S70 - TSB for cleaning the ETM | 16 Oct 2005 18:31 GMT | 1 |
I own a 2000 S70 non-turbo with 100,000 miles on it and recently the ETS light has started to come on intermittently. I usually pull over, stop the engine then start again after 30 seconds and the light is gone. Usually I can drive another 20 to 200 kilometers before this
