| 2001 V70 power Brake servo | 14 Oct 2005 15:12 GMT | 4 |
Recently I hear a hissing sound when I release the brake peddle. It is coming from the end or the power brake servo that is under the dash and will stop after a short while and usually when I tap the brake peddle. What am I in for a fix? The braking doesn't seem to be affected ...

| Disenchanted with my VolvoS80 | 14 Oct 2005 14:35 GMT | 6 |
Purchased a used 2000 S80Volvo with 70K from an individual in April. Since then, I replaced the front and back brakes because I received a message for ABS Service Required code along with a STC code. The codes continued to appear after I had the brakes replaced. I suspected that

| 850 Cam sensor connector clip wanted... | 14 Oct 2005 02:23 GMT | 4 |
I'm looking the removable part of the clip that holds the connector for the cam position sensor in place...I've dropped mine somewhere, and despite an extensive search and a strong magnet...it's gone. Presumably some un-accessale part of the car is hiding it. It's sort

Well, E reg Volvo 240 2.3 petrol Estate (176,000 miles) went for MOT today and it looks like £400 of welding plus some ball joints and a few niggly bits to get it through... Paid £800 three years ago and it's cost us nothing in repairs up to now...

| HID Upgrade for S80 | 13 Oct 2005 12:46 GMT | 3 |
I was wondering if anyone has tried any of the aftermarket HID kits available. I have a 2001 S80 and was noticing that the headlight bulbs were dimming a bit...so much so that I will be buying new lights soon. The cost of new H7s will run me only $50 for the set, but I have seen

There is a trigger lock on the handle of the gear shift lever on my 2000 S70 with automatic transmission. Mine is sticking. If it sticks I can slide the lever between all gears. When it sticks in Park I cannot remove the key when the engine is turned off.

| Transmissions and Bad Karma | 11 Oct 2005 03:52 GMT | 5 |
Karma comes is a yin and a yang.. or something like that. At least so seems to be the case with me at the present time. I tried to open the M47 tranny's fill plug a while back and all I could manage was to turn the 12mm hex boss into a 10mm round stud. Damn...
