would like to change the gearbox of 440 1.7 Turbo (1990).... What is the

I know diagnosing rattles over Usenet is asking the impossible, but I'll
give it a shot anyway.
The car is a 1991 UK spec 240 SE. B200F engine. 157000 miles (give or take).
There is a _horrible_ rattle between 2000 and 2500 rpm from the underside

i don't have brake lights on my 96 sedan...checked fuse panel under

I have an intermittent squeak that is coming from the heater blower.  I cut
the fan off and the squeak stops.  Does this mean I need a new blower fan?
If so are they difficult to replace?  Thanks in advance!

I recently bought a 1995 850 GLT.  When I turn on the A/C, I think the
compressor is making too much noise.  Should it be fairly loud or is this a
bad sign?  The A/C also stops cooling from time to time, especially in hot
temperatures.  I recall reading about a switch that often ...

I got this car, the title says it is a turbo model, and it seems that
the engine was replaced with a non turbo one.
I don't know if the car worked after the change and I don't know if
they replaced the computer and anything else that should be changed

Lately the dash mounted outside temp indicator drops in temp 40°F or so,
then after a few miles, comes back to normal.  Does this affect engine
operation?  Where is the sensor located?  Any fix?

The volvo service department has recommended we upgrade our software in
our XC70.  What's up with that.  They want $150.00 which seems
excessive to me. I have never heard of this on any other car I have
