Need Buying Advice18 Jan 2006 05:00 GMT7
I am ready to give up my '86 GL wagon (my 2nd Volvo) and have been
looking at used V70 XCs in the 1998-2000 year range.  I really like the
looks of that model better than any others
in that span of years.  I would like to stay under $11,000 and would
96 850 GLC no dash, center console or shifter lights18 Jan 2006 03:17 GMT2
Any ideas on this?  Checked all the fuses and they seem OK.  Had lights for
a few months, then they would be on, then go off.  Now off completely.
Thanks,
Steven C. Perkins

V-70 Starting problem15 Jan 2006 21:18 GMT1
My 1999 v-70 normally runs well.  Very occasionally, when I switch it
on, the car will not start.  All the normal warning lights are
illuminated but the engine does not fire up.  After, maybe, 2 minutes of
trying, it starts and everything appears normal.  I have taken it to a

240 cruise control15 Jan 2006 16:58 GMT6
I'm thinking of fitting cruise control to my 1991 240. I was hoping to get

'Volvo'and 'performance' are incompatible no more
Simply transporting passengers safely from Point A to Point B isn't

780 Sunroof question15 Jan 2006 00:49 GMT7
Does the -88 780 have sunroof with tilt and slide, or just slide?
