Hey. Just ordered a master cylinder online for $70 (shop wanted to sell
me one for $170!).
What's a reasonable estimate on labor costs, so I can keep the shop

Now that the volvo(1999 S70 2.4 No turbo)  is telling me that bank 1
sensor 2 needs to be replaced, I wonder what you all know about generic
replacement 4 wire O2 sensors?

While replacing the breather box I broke the connection to the knock
sensor. I soldered the pins back in place and the car idles and runs
seemingly fine, but my mechanic noticed what he described as a lot of
engine noise and a knock.

I want to change the wheels I got now and since there's a lot of options to
choose from, there's 5x108mm, 5x114mm to name a few. What is the actual

I was working on my Wife's 1999 S70 today hoping to figure out why the
frickin' check engine light is still on...
On the way home, I decided  to stop and put some gas into it...  I
couldn't because the gas door release switch is not working.

cooler weather has brought out a front end squeek on the front end of my
'96 850....sounds like a strut tower needs silicon sprayed...really what
is sounds like is an old '56 chevy ball joint squeek that i used to hear
on my dad's chevy back in '59......up and down front end motion ...

My Volvo V70 automatically locks the doors once the speed reaches about
5mph.  Does any body know how to turn this option off?  These things usually
involve something like 'open the door twice, turn on ignition, open door
twice'.

Just got a used 1999 S80 with HU-611 radio.There is no speaker beneath
the center dash speaker grill. Is this speaker only there with the
better system? Is any one aware of a compartment/cupholder aftermarket
dropin for that center speaker hole? I am hoping the car will not loose ...
