| Opinion wanted on rust on car - link to pics included | 14 Feb 2006 09:04 GMT | 17 |
I have been looking at buying a 8yr old white volvo. It has some rust showing through, which I think is unusual for a volvo? Would this be a sign of poor repair accident damage? Is it likely to get worse and costly to repair? Is it bad enough to

| 1992 940 turbo wont start -Air intake hose problem? | 14 Feb 2006 04:37 GMT | 8 |
My 1992 940 turbo wont start after some minor maintenance. While working on my 940 I noticed the bottom of my air supply hose was kind of thin and creased along the bottom. I could not see if there was a hole in it or not. This is the hose that goes from the air cleaner

| Engine Rattle | 14 Feb 2006 04:08 GMT | 9 |
I have a 96 Volvo 850 GLT. On start up some times the top of the engine will rattle for a few seconds and stop. The oil and filter are ok. Can the oil be dirty? Can the filter be the wrong one? Can I be using the wrong oil? It seems this will happen when it is cold outside. Thanks

| Which fuel injection system do I have in my 940 turbo? | 14 Feb 2006 02:11 GMT | 6 |
My Chilton manual does a good job of helping me determine my engine and transmission models but does nothing to help me determine my fuel injection system. I have a 1992 940 turbo and the manual gives me three possible injection systems. A jetronoc, a motronic and a Regina.

| How does Volvo weather leather now? | 12 Feb 2006 22:56 GMT | 10 |
My sister owns a V70 thats about 11 years old. I've noticed in her car what I've noticed in a few Volvos--that the leather seems to crack and degrade, not aging gracefully. I am considering purchasing a 2002 to 2004 S80. Should I be concerned? Has the quality of leather ...

I saw a website that advertises a Wing door kit for the XC90. Is that for real? Does Volvo actually make them? Google search has articles about a Volvo concept car design that had them.

| FUEL Economy-Out Of Warranty? Who Cares? | 12 Feb 2006 21:54 GMT | 10 |
I've noticed an enduring thread in this group regarding fuel economy. I might be crazy but I just had this thing installed on my XC 70 yesterday and I'm testing it out to see what difference it makes. This was tested on NBC local channel here in Las Vegas a few months ago and it ...
