I have 1 1998 v70 wagon.  The ABS light comes on and goes off from time to
time.  Is this a computer glitch or is the module defective and must be
changed (expensive!)?

I posted an add advertizing my Red Volvo 850  for sale, asking price
$1600  last month and was approached by a Nigerian Con Artist!
This person sent me a bogus check for $3500 dollars.  It looked like a
payroll check from a Helicopter Company, (Bell Helicopter Textron).

All was going well with my lovely 240 (US) untill the past week.  Sure
I was leaking the quart of trans fluid every two weeks or so.  But, in
the last week the fluid has come gushing out of it-3 qts a day and hits
the exhaust creating horrific smoke .  It leaks like there is no end.

I know it is not easy to diagnose noise by description but some hints
would be good.

I bought a 1991 740 wagon back in December.
It now has about 170K.
It is a good idea to have the valve clearance checked? Do any of you ever
see much variation in valve clearance at this mileage.

I am wanting to switch from my standard 14" alloys to a 15" Virgo. I
also like the Hydra wheel, and someone has both the 15" Virgo and the
16" Hydra.  I would think the 16" to be too big, but wanted to ask.
Will it fit normally? What about handling, performance, etc?

I've noticed that at about 50 mph and accelerating to that point there is a
very subtle "miss." I guess that's the best way to describe it. Have new
plugs,rotor, and dist. cap. throttle body is clean.also cleaned out idle
control valve.
