Advice and guidance please.
I have a '93' 940 2.0T estate, 123K manual 4 speed with overdrive (5th). I
have had this veh for last 6 yrs, no probs except general wear and tear of
replaceable items etc.

Since I got my car...
Scratched door bumper on pickup
Buggy Radio (radio would randomly lockup)
Buggy Temperature control (it would blast heat in 30 centigrade weather)

I've to check the set of timing belt in my V740 with B230F motor. How can I
do this,..by no invasive methode?? Please give me instruction! :))
I don't want spend many time of this,..Is any  strught,easy methode to check

    '92 960 wagon........the speedometer indicates speed, but the
odometer takes large amounts of time off, (doesn't move)  and then will
click off a few miles and stop again.  I haven't dug into it yet.  Is
the assembly run by a cable or electronically?  Anyone experienced this

On the pillar of my 960 is a note to have the safety equipment
serviced/replaced.
I guess this is the airbag and belt restraints.

the alarm on my 960 just went off.. and the remote control didn't work
either.. Now the car won't start, the imobilizer is activated i think.
I changed batteries in remote control.. but still it won't start and alarm

I have a few DVDs which I want to copy.
I have always copied my CDs and only used a copy to play keeping the master
safe and undamaged.
If the copy gets banged up by the kids or in the car I just make another one

Has anyone experienced a problem with the transmission, where the
Sport/Economy/Winter lights flash alternately and the amber arrow in the
instrument cluster flashes on and off? The acceleration also feels like
the car is in 3rd gear (Failure mode?).

friend of mine (6'3) wants to replace several broken switches on his 122
and thinks that removing seats is first, i'm 5'8 and don't recall such
problem... i suggested he push seats as far back as possible... it's been
some 15+ years since iv'e done work on 122 dash... isn't it a ...

The odometer on my 850 just died. I suspect the odometer gear gave up
the ghost. I called the dealer and they said Volvo now has an improved
gear and they will install it for $400.
I called my mechanic and he said he could install a new odometer since

The bulb failure light is constantly lit on my dash. I've already
replaced all bulbs in matched sets, as I've been told Volvos are
particularly sensitive to having mismatched bulbs. Problem is still
there. I want to inspect (and replace if necessary) the bulb failure

I have a clarion CD player in my '96 850 5spd wagon.
Has anyone had problems with CD players overheating in their Volvos?
In spring/summer if I play a CD for 1+ hour I get an "Error 3" which the
manual says means the pickup beam is out of focus.

Hi, I posted an earlier message about not being able to roll up my
window.  I was told that I need to have my computer reset and that it
was possible to do this myself.  Can anyone tell me how to do this?
