Window Won't Come Back Up 2000 V7005 Apr 2006 14:54 GMT1
My 2000 V70 (with AWD) has a driver's side window that won't come back up.
At least it didn't for 2 days. It finally rose yesterday. It's not clear why
it stopped and why it came back to life. The car is 6 years old with about
40,000 miles on it. It doesn't get driven all winter ...

I've been wondering for a while whether the '90 to '92 740 style
taillights (indicator and reverse are a stripe across the middle of
the red light) will fit on a 2-series such as a 264 that has the
6-panel lights that are the same as the earlier 7-series.

I need two bypass hoses for my B280F (hoses between each head and the water
pump/thermostat).
None of the local vendors have these, (nor can they get them).  I'm in
Canada, and I'm hoping I can find an online retailer for these hoses (VLV
Need suggestions on painting front scoop below bumper05 Apr 2006 04:31 GMT5
My 1987 740 is gold/beige. The front bumper is black and beneath this
is the front scoop which is also gold/beige. It is scuffed and
scratched and rubbed. Eventually when I re-paint the car, I'll paint
the scoop also.

I noticed that the coolant level in the expension tank when the engine
is warn can reach sometimes almost the top of the tank. It remains only
very little air space.
Is this normal?

Does anybody have any comments on OBDII reader to use for 1999 V70?

Change Starter on 1995 960 volvo02 Apr 2006 19:40 GMT1
Would somebody out there who's had experience changing the starter on
a 1995 960 volvo please help me out.  I've changed a lot of starters
on other cars where it's a 30 min or less job, but this car seems to
have a "buried" starter.  Is that true?  Is it really a 3 hour job
Replacing the Air Mass Meter on a 940T02 Apr 2006 19:35 GMT5
I'm going through, bit by bit, replacing parts in order to try to fix

it's not dropping off when cruising - it just threatens to stall if

I've a '93 850 SE saloon. The two high-level stop lights (the one in
