I'm having a problem with my heater ventilation fan.  I've got a 1997 Volvo
850 with manual temperature controls.  My fan speed only works on speeds 2,
3, or 4.  Speed 1 does nothing.  I've checked the fuses, but I know that
speeds 1-3 are on one circuit and 4 is on it's own, so ...

idle (stall) problem, that hurt the tranny and cause all of my
problems!

I finally got my hands on a timing light to see if my timing was indeed
off and causing my lack of power.

Moving from Seattle to Southern Arizona means going from really soft water
to really hard water. Who can tell me how to avoid the hard water spots
after I wash the car??

For those of you who have done this a few times, you may have found a
way that works for you. For those of you who have yet to replace this
switch - this may save you a little blood, sweat and tears.
