Someone hit our 2006 Volvo S40 exactly one month ago and its

Volvo headlight switch04 Aug 2006 01:24 GMT2
 I have a Volvo S70 non-turbo 1998 model. Recently, I bought a head
light switch from e-bay and later I learnt that there were some recalls
for this model. How do I find out if this switch is not a recalled one
that I bought from e-bay. I bought this for very cheap price(US 5.00)

Surely someone, somewhere has or can get to and copy a factory workshop
manual, with instructions on changing a timing belt on a S80 T6.  Dealer
quotes $1300 to do it....f.cking insane!

I would like to know if the flexible tubing going from the fuel pump to the
injection system has to be a high pressure tubing or not.
After several years of good service it is starting to crack and has to be
replaced.

1995 850 Turbo Wagon Oil Cooler Line popping off02 Aug 2006 13:06 GMT1
I have good one here, my oil cooler inlet line is popping off and oil is
shooting out. I reconnect and you can hear when it happens after 30 seconds.
Connection appears secure. I changed oil and filter, oil is making it through
the oil cooler okay.  What could be wrong after it ...
V70 Classic - Front Strut Brace02 Aug 2006 09:44 GMT1
1998 UK Spec V70 Classic 2.5 10V
I notice on eBay that you can buy a genuine Volvo front strut brace.
Has anybody fitted one to their car, and if so what handling improvements
(if any) did you notice?
ABS Module Repair02 Aug 2006 06:20 GMT7
Has anyone had any experience having the ABS Module repair (where you
remove the module, send it out, and they repair with the "lifetime"
guarantee)?  I've seen several posts on here about it, but haven't seen
any feedback from someone who actually sent theirs out.
Headlamp masking pattern for taking a UK car to Europe?01 Aug 2006 20:50 GMT1
This question may sound completey bizarre to readers in some countries, but
here in Europe if you take your car from the UK (right hand drive ) to the
rest of Europe (left hand drive), or vice versa, you have to (by law) mask
off the portion of your headlamp which shines light ...
1991 740 Turbo Questions01 Aug 2006 18:46 GMT1
Hi all, my name is Bill. I've been a Saab owner for years now, but my
900s died, and I am thinking about switching over to Volvo. I have a
down payment on a 1991 Black 740 Turbo. I've never owned a Volvo
before, so be gentle. The car has 146k miles, and appears to be in very

I know the XC90, but read an article about a XE, but I can't find any decent
