Other than the calipers, is there any other item that has to be bled
after installing a new master cylinder and  new calipers?

door locks on S 8018 Oct 2006 13:22 GMT6
The power door locks on my S 80 quit recently.  They still respond
individually when you try to lock with the door open, each will come back
up.  The remote and arm rest switches don't do anything.
Any ideas?
Wax Residue18 Oct 2006 13:19 GMT2
I recently applied a polish to my Volvo XC90, and in the process hit some of
the black plastic trim pieces --- and where I hit has dried to a white mark
that won't wash off.  Any ideas about what will remove this wax/polish
residue on the black plastic trim?
Any Interest in 240 Headrest Inserts or Sony AM/FM/Cassette "Explod" Stereo?18 Oct 2006 06:31 GMT2
We're selling the old 240, having found a rare-around-here
Camry wagon, and I'm trying to decide which items are possible
side-deals if I remove them from the package in serious haggling.
A while back I picked up a pair of good used black vinyl headrest

Anyone have this happen?
everything else is working, except the odometer.
Is this a cable driven thing, or is it electric?

Qeustion on fixing a 92 760 turbocharger17 Oct 2006 20:47 GMT2
My brothers' 92 760 turbo wagon has had a loud exhaust leak since
he bought it from some motorheads in Houston.  Somehow it has passed
two inspections like this.  These guys said that they had taken the
turbo unit apart and it was in good shape. Well, yes, it does work

Visit www.swedeworld.com   I own and operate this website.  I have many
years of Volvo experience as does my family.  Hope to provide this site
as a resource for Volvo owners.  I do not have any advertising going
on, no banners etc.  I just want to have a cool Volvo community and
simple, but expensive17 Oct 2006 18:00 GMT2
last night some punk hood did a b-b through my 245 '90 wagon rear window...
it still intact (ya, keep the windows open so pressure doesn't blast it)

Overdrive Disable17 Oct 2006 03:40 GMT3
My '87 245 automatic has overdrive, and it gets stuck in the lower gear
(I have read that it is 3rd).  Actually it is intermittent, the arrow
goes on and off and it sticks accordingly.  Really, it seems to work
like a passing gear, kicking into 3rd to pick up speed uphill...and it
740T won't start when parked on a slope17 Oct 2006 03:38 GMT2
The latest 'charactor trait' of my '92 740T wagon...it won't start when
I've parked on a slope where the engine is higher than the tank. The
engine starts right up when I park on a level or a downward grade, and
after I move the car to either position. It's pretty obvious that I

850 Fuel Pressure Regulator Replacement16 Oct 2006 23:04 GMT2
I'm going to attempt to replace my ailing fuel pressure regulator on
my '95 850 non-turbo, 20 valve. All I have is my Haynes manual to
consult. Any tips or advice for removing the fuel rail so I can get at
the regulator?
removing the oil seal on 66 Volvo Amazon?16 Oct 2006 21:56 GMT1

940 Turbo Fuel Gauge Trouble16 Oct 2006 20:10 GMT1
I think I may have isolated the fuel gauge issue to an area under the dash.  It seems that a group of wires are on a connector that connects to the dash board panel.  I was told by a friend that this may be called a cluster.  If I apply pressure to the connector the gauge works, ...
