| door locks on S 80 | 18 Oct 2006 13:22 GMT | 6 |
The power door locks on my S 80 quit recently. They still respond individually when you try to lock with the door open, each will come back up. The remote and arm rest switches don't do anything. Any ideas?

| Wax Residue | 18 Oct 2006 13:19 GMT | 2 |
I recently applied a polish to my Volvo XC90, and in the process hit some of the black plastic trim pieces --- and where I hit has dried to a white mark that won't wash off. Any ideas about what will remove this wax/polish residue on the black plastic trim?

We're selling the old 240, having found a rare-around-here Camry wagon, and I'm trying to decide which items are possible side-deals if I remove them from the package in serious haggling. A while back I picked up a pair of good used black vinyl headrest

My brothers' 92 760 turbo wagon has had a loud exhaust leak since he bought it from some motorheads in Houston. Somehow it has passed two inspections like this. These guys said that they had taken the turbo unit apart and it was in good shape. Well, yes, it does work

| Overdrive Disable | 17 Oct 2006 03:40 GMT | 3 |
My '87 245 automatic has overdrive, and it gets stuck in the lower gear (I have read that it is 3rd). Actually it is intermittent, the arrow goes on and off and it sticks accordingly. Really, it seems to work like a passing gear, kicking into 3rd to pick up speed uphill...and it

| 740T won't start when parked on a slope | 17 Oct 2006 03:38 GMT | 2 |
The latest 'charactor trait' of my '92 740T wagon...it won't start when I've parked on a slope where the engine is higher than the tank. The engine starts right up when I park on a level or a downward grade, and after I move the car to either position. It's pretty obvious that I

| 940 Turbo Fuel Gauge Trouble | 16 Oct 2006 20:10 GMT | 1 |
I think I may have isolated the fuel gauge issue to an area under the dash. It seems that a group of wires are on a connector that connects to the dash board panel. I was told by a friend that this may be called a cluster. If I apply pressure to the connector the gauge works, ...
