I have a few questions about my Volvo S40.
1 ) Ihave bought a replacement remote from ebay and was wondering how
topregram it. I have tried the ignition 5 times to position II method
but to no avail.

I need to replace the struts on my 1987 240 Wagon.  I'm looking for
some help as far as what needs to be done and any pointers you guys can

I was wondering if it is normal to hear a clicking sound when the air
conditioner is on? It seems like a valve or something is turning on and
off every 10-15 seconds or so.

I just finished replacing, calipers, pads and the master cylinder.  I
filled up the system with dot 4 and bled each wheel using compressed
air ( a tool which I made) to pump the brake fluid (15psi) to each

I have made two posting regarding the bleeding of the brake system
on the 244 Diesel.  Both have been deleted.
The question remains, is there any point other than the calipers that
has to be bled  after replacing calipers and the master cylinder?

I recently had my timing belt changed (amongst other small things), at
the Volvo dealership. I was told that my Mass Air flow sensor was
failing. I did not have enough money to take care of this. My bill had
gotten up to $854 already.

I was driving my '86 240 up a bill hill on the highway yesterday and
heard a few quiet knock and then noticed a one big poof of dark grey,
dirty smoke come out of the exhaust. I drove it about another half hour
back home on the highway and it didn't poof again. Any thoughts? It's

My 96 850 took a hard hit from a shopping cart in the right headlamp.
The plastic part that holds the blade on the headlamp wiper is broken
off. Does anyone know if I can get just this part or do I need to
replace the whole wiper assembly? If I can get just the part, please

Just got my 95 850 for $2500 as is. Didn't realize there were this many
problems. Main one right now is related to the charging system. When
the engined is reved high while the car is driving, the lights get
