Volvo -960-estate. Year 1995 - question about wiring arrangement to the ignition switch31 Dec 2006 21:21 GMT3
Can you please let me know the wiring arrangement to the "inside" of
the ignition switch on the above type of Volvo?
The new Volvo is cool? Believe it.31 Dec 2006 16:59 GMT4

come and go with barely a purr, others with a growl; Volvo's C30, though,
has been generating a buzz. The Swedish car maker has at last made a car for
trendy, young urbanites, foregoing its traditional family target, and

Sudden Death30 Dec 2006 09:45 GMT11
88 240 wagon, 160k
Normally I drive 55 and I am very strict about it, but it was
Christmas Eve morning and I wanted to get home  so I was driving  at
65-70 mph on my  1 hour commute.  Engine dies without warning.
Rear Deck Speakers30 Dec 2006 05:40 GMT12
Recently I have noticed a problem I suspect to be a blown rear deck
speaker in my 1993 940 sedan. At Circuit City (a local electronics
store specializing in car audio) I was quoted $527 to replace both of
them. At the dealer, I was quoted $300.
240 overheating with ice-cold radiator29 Dec 2006 14:36 GMT8
My 240 Diesel (1986) started to overheat, it takes approx. 15 minutes
to reach the red zone (it's winter now and below freezing outside).
When I stop the engine and check, the motor is hot, the radiator is
completely cold everywhere.
'83 240 GLE fuel pump relay29 Dec 2006 07:34 GMT20
Does anyone know where the in tank fuel pump relay is on a '83 240?
I'm trying to isolate a problem, car stalls after driving perfectly for
a short time on hot days, seems the in tank pump is gone but i am
trying to rule out any other faults. High pressure pump workes fine.
I'm still having fuel system problems29 Dec 2006 05:57 GMT6
Alright here is some back ground on the problem...
As I mentioned in an earlier post. My '85 244 started having some fuel
problems. it started acting like it was starving for fuel a bit, mostly
a slight loss of power. Last week I was driving over a mountain with a
'83 240 fuel lines/in tank pump29 Dec 2006 05:53 GMT1
Has anyone out there changed an in tank fuel pump in 83 240?  I cannot
get the fuel lines off the access hatch.  One is attached with a line
clamp, i unscrew the clamp and the hose slides straight off.   The
other has no clamp (the return fuel line), but will not pull off.
Aux stereo mini-plug input to HU-611 in 2000 S80 T6?28 Dec 2006 16:19 GMT2
New to Volvos, and love this car!  BUT I wish it had an ordinary
stereo mini-plug for an external device.  I don't have an iPod, so
iPod-specific solutions are out.  I believe there is an option for a
CD changer, but I do not have one.
940 - which model to get?28 Dec 2006 15:39 GMT17
Hi, all, and Happy Holidays!
I am contemplating getting a 940 soon, somewhere in the 91-95 range. I
was wondering if someone with experience here could shed some words of
wisdom: which models are better (reliability first) and which are less
Volvo 740 water on floor!28 Dec 2006 12:02 GMT2
I have a 1989 Volvo 740 with sunroof.
In the last year or so I noticed that if the car is out in a long rain,
a pool of water starts to form on the floor of the left-rear
(driver-side back seat). It can get to 1/2" of water or so!

By this time, here in Costa Rica, this is a serious problem becasue day
