THe book recommends 12,000 km. I did it at the 7,000 KM and the oil was
filthy.
So I went with full synthetic but the question is if I went to 12,000 KM as
teh book suggest it was have been a disaster.

I have a 94 940 Turbo and it has developed a problem with the cruise
control. It works fine for about an hour then cuts off. It can be
reengaged but cuts of increasingly frequently until it will not reengage
at all.

This is a T5.
I know the oil filter is inset into the oil pan but was wondering....what is
the (black) canister filter that is
toward the passenger side of car right behind the front

The biggest drawback of my 1997 Volvo wagon has always been the
electronics.    I bought this car new and I expected all of the
mechanical wear and tear.  But form day ones the electronics have been
a horror.  First week I got the car the alternator failed.  

Anyone give me a clue if the 850 TDi auto saloon (1996) I picked up last
week is doing about the correct mpg i.e. at the moment (having done
about 200 miles since getting it) it's showing 36.8mpg, that's in UK
miles and gallons.

79 Volvo 240 wagon with AC,need to know what year and models of Volvo
alternators interchange with this model.

I want to be able to show video on my RTI-screen, but can't find a way to
connect my source to the RTI system. I have the original TV-tuner. There is

My 94 940T has 205-55-16 tires.  I need winter tires and have found a good
used set of 205-50-16.
Will those work?  Do they use the same rims?

I was following my wife while she was driving our 94 940 Turbo yesterday
and I noticed that the tail light, brake light and turn signal on the
right (passenger) side of the car are noticeably dimmer than the
corresponding one of the left (drivers) side.
