I just bought an instrument cluster on ebay, Tach, etc. all allegedly
work. However, my '86 240 DL has a clock located where the tach is in
the new cluster. There is a three pin connector on the back of the
tach, but no three pin plug on my wiring harness. Plus I have an orphan

With my "new" 855 TDI 1996 came also an Eberspächer Hydronic(?) preheating

I've just noticed a new and slightly loud vibration/whine from my rear
end  (88 240 sedan w/180,000 km) which is only noticeable above 80 km/h

the gas, the whine/vibration goes away. The centre bearing & housing

Wife had a 240GL wagon and like it a lot. We haven't looked at Volvo for

V/S 70 reliability VS 85022 Jan 2007 01:32 GMT10
I understand that the 70 series is just an updated version of the 850, yet
from my lurking here it seems that the 70's have many more issues.  Is this
true?  Am I better off with a 850 rather then a 70?
Thanks
