Can anyone recommend a good spark arrester to use with the radio on an 850GLC, This is a unit with the CD changer in the trunk. I can only get the most powerful AM stations with lots of engine noise. Thanks,

I'll try this again with better information .... I have a 1996 850 with 150,000. There is a crackling sort of sound, just loud enough to be heard above the idling motor. The sound comes from directly behind the headlight on the right side of the car from

My car has suddenly developed a lack of power, backfires and hard to start I have changed the plugs and leads today , changed the distributor cap and rotor about 12 months ago. Any suggestion would be of great help Thanks

Sorry not Volvo but I know you guys here have great answers. My boy yank the wires off the O2 sensor connector by accident when he change out the catalytic converter and looks like the color code doesn't follow through from O2 unit to the connector to the wire harness.

The radiator in my 1994 940 has developed a crack in the plastic tank. I'm currently out of town and need to drive about 3 hours to get home. If I leave the radiator cap loose, and prevent excessive pressure from building, can I limp the car home? I'll obviously bring LOTS of water

My darling husband just replaced the switch that makes the brake lights work. Now they work, and I have cruise (yeah). I just noticed, however, now the outside temp gauge (its a lcd display) light is out.

RE: 98 S70 Where is the turn signal (relay/blinker) located? Problem just started, sometimes the directionals blink, sometimes they don't at all...my guess, the blinker is on it's way out...

I have just purchased an "H" reg Volvo 940 SE (2l petrol) automatic. I have an orange arrow on the dash that tells me that the overdrive is disengaged. However pressing the tit on the gear lever has no effect - also I still have 4 gears (or 3 gears + overdrive)!

While testing main pump useing line to container at fuel rail, I had fuel come pouring out the return line, not from the fuel rail side. I also forgot to remove the fill cap,to reduce pressure. Does this suggest any kind of problem to any one.
