My 1991 Volvo 240 has a exhaust leak between the first and second muffler,
right where the first muffler attaches to the pipe that eventually goes to
the second muffler. I am assuming this leak relieves some back pressure in

The tailgate door on my 1995 850 wagon suddenly refuses to close and
latch completely. It latches to the first position that holds the door
down, but won't make a tight seal and really "click in". It was
intermittent before but with a bit of direct force it would grab on...

Anyone know a decent source for Volvo vacuum hoses other than the dealer.
Couldn't find at IPD or FCP groton. Need some 6.4mm and 3mm hose for my 245.

Is that possible, or is it a bigger job than i think?

Well, it finally being warm enough to het under the hood of my wife's
1993 Volvo 245, I decided to have at the problem causing the check
engine light.  I checked the codes again- 3-2-2 and 1-1-3.  It ran fine.  

A question from the owners of an '86 240 DL and '90 740 Turbo:  I'm
looking for interior pieces such as the driver's side bottom seatbelt
tray (or housing).  Or the sun visor clip.  Or fasteners for plastic
doorway trim. I've had no luck with any of the online parts sellers.

I purchased our 2004 XC-70 in the summer of 2003.  It came with Pirelli
Scorpion STR tires sized 215/65-16.  They have ~35,000 miles on them.  Two
brands/tires were recommended:
   Michelin MXM4 and Nokian WR's.

I am looking to but a C70 2004-2005 age. I am totally confused by the engine
varients. I see they show 2.3 T5 Gt. A 2.4 GT and also a 2 litre GT. I can
get the 2 litre but what are the differences with the others.

Having tonight driven our 97 S70 in the dark, its obvious that dipped beam
is awful. Main beam is good.
Closer inspection of the reflectors shows that they are crazed and dull,
probably from 10 years of the car running around with the DLR dipped beams

I finally finished the paperwork and brought the car home today. I'm

I just bought an '88 Volvo 240 DL Wagon.  New to the Volvo world.  I
really like the car, but am starting to worry that I bought a lemon.
My main worry is that sometimes it makes a strange noise.  It starts
with a sound like when you have a flat tire - sort of a flapping
