I have a noise when the air con is switched on, its almost like a low metal
screech noise, the noise is constant even if the fan is put on high.  Car
regularly serviced 10,000miles ago at 108000.
What can go wrong in the A/C

Does anyone have any recommendations whether or not to buy a used
overdrive solenoid from a junk yard?  Can they really go bad if they
are still attached to a transmission sitting out in a yard??
Any input would be appreciated!!

The cable broke right where it attaches to the spring mechanism, in
the center of the hood. Is there any "easy" way to get the hood open
and replace it? I might try to remove the gill to get easier access....

The bolts for the rear wiper on my 92 740 wagon are gone. I got this
car used with the motor like this. It's pretty funny to watch and all,

I have a 1989 760 turbo in Pittsburgh, PA, that I need to get rid of.  It
has 210,000 miles and numerous small problems, but I recently acquired a
1991 740 non-turbo that's in better condition, so the 760 must go.
