I have Volvo 850 from 1997, and its right headlight wiper motor is faulty. My friend was visiting a couple of hundred kms distant scrapyard and brought me both left and right headlight wiper motors for a really small price. I was told in advance that one is faulty, but they didn't

| Volvo 245 Suspension Bushing's Quality Question | 07 Feb 2007 04:05 GMT | 2 |
Are the FCP Groton bushings (rear suspension 89 Volvo 245) of sufficient quality to be considered as replacements? Whole set of ten is $77 or so. [Rubber, not urethane.] I'd hate to do all the work of installing them and then have someone tell me to use better

| V70 tyres | 07 Feb 2007 00:36 GMT | 21 |
I'm going to change the tyres on our 2001 V70 soon - they've got Pirelli P6000s on that seem OK although I've had punctures/valve problems in all of them and one is still leaking. Any other recommendations? We're in the UK.

Perpetual motion for time anyway, just need to recycle the oil leaking out of this Volvo..... Last Volvo leaked also no wonder Ford is going broke. Next time a nice non-leaking Japanese car, a Mazda would be nice.

| 240 timing belt busted | 06 Feb 2007 03:49 GMT | 19 |
My 88 240 gently coasted to a halt recently and I discovered that the timing belt had busted. No nasty crunchy noises were heard from the dying engine. But I have been told that the engine is now beyond economical repair. And yet I discover on other Volvo sites that this

I just purchased my first Volvo a week ago as a spare vehicle. I drove about 50 miles today and pulled over on the side of the road (highway) to snap a photo (and left the car running). I returned to the car and took off back on the highway, the car reved up to about 3200 rpm then ...

| Instructions to replace 850 sedan antenna mast | 04 Feb 2007 18:40 GMT | 1 |
I am considering the purchase of a '96 Volvo 850 as a second car. There are two problems with the car that I know of: a) The antenna mast doesn't move, but I hear the motor when the radio is turned on or off. So I think the nylon chain must be broken
