| How do I remove the stereo in my '87 Volvo? | 04 Feb 2007 08:53 GMT | 1 |
The stereo is located below the ashtray. It's not the factory stereo. I have NO CLUE how to get this bugger out, but I don't want to spend the big bucks to have Car Toys install my new stereo. I'm not mechanically inclined whatsover.

| 95 Volvo 850 Brake Light Problem | 03 Feb 2007 13:23 GMT | 3 |
Thanks for any advice you can give me. All the brake lights (both sides and high mount) have stopped working. The fuse looks good and has been replaced as a precaution. Both bulbs have been replaced. When I put a meter across the fuse connection, I see 12 volts

| Fault code question | 03 Feb 2007 04:37 GMT | 4 |
My wife's 1993 240 wagon's "check engine" light came on in below-zero cold weather a couple of days ago. The local mechanic checked the codes and found a 3-2-2. He cleaned the wiring harness contacts for the AMM and cleared the codes. He said if the light came back on, he'd ...

| Is it possible to flush-out fuel systems (fuel pumps) on Volvos? | 03 Feb 2007 03:16 GMT | 1 |
I believe I received contaminated gasoline; which can damage the fuel- pump. As a (much) more inexpensive alternative than replacing the fuel pump, is it possible to have the fuel tank pumped-out, and to flush- out the fuel system i.e., fuel-pump?

| Oil Leaking piece of @#$%^ | 02 Feb 2007 18:14 GMT | 5 |
We have a 2001 XC70 Turbo. This is the worst of all oil leakers, I've looked under it and can't find the source of the leak. My garage floor is starting to look like the LeBrea Tar pits. I'm sure it will qualify for a national clean up site.

| V-70 Steering wheel | 02 Feb 2007 17:07 GMT | 2 |
I find that the "plastic" material covering the steering wheel is losing the surface where my thumb is placed during driving. Has anyone any ideas of perhaps a product to stop further wear which is not as unsightly such as wrapping it with tape

| 240 power steering leak-scary quote! | 02 Feb 2007 05:09 GMT | 13 |
I'm in Australia. I've been quoted almost AU$1000 to have a leak in my 85 240 repaired. The mechanic has advised he needs to replace the rack and boots. I can get a guaranteed second hand rack from a wrecker for $150, and I'm

| Key for 850? | 01 Feb 2007 20:39 GMT | 5 |
Anybody know of a locksmith who can cut '95 850 key, in Canada or North America preferably? The only dealer here wants $75 per key, which I consider a little excessive and none of the local locksmiths have the equipment. Toronto area would be great as I have someone there who can ...
