I have a Haynes manual for 740 Volvo, but it only covers to 88 or 89 Volvo 740. I think there might be significant differences, particularly in wiring in my 92 turbo wagon I am trying to troubleshoot. I will pay $$$ for one, need it like NOW. Thanks,

| S70 thermostat | 11 Mar 2007 17:36 GMT | 3 |
On a 1998 S70, when you replace the thermostat, I see there is a rubber gasket that fits around the thermostat itself, but is that it? Is there another gasket for the housing...(don't see one). Do you just brush off the corrosion and replace the aluminum housing....or

I haven't got a workshop manual yet but one thing needing doing urgently is to adjust the handbrake - it seems to be just pulling up on one wheel only, and the lever is about at the top of its travel. Can someone tell me where the adjusters are and how to get to them if not

For the last few days I have noticed a strong strawberry smell inside my car - it seems to be most noticiable when I have left it alone over night or for an hour and its been standing still. I have not had anything that would smell like that in the car so I am

| 88 240 Ign Cont Module | 09 Mar 2007 03:59 GMT | 4 |
I Believe my ICM is bad on my 88 240 wagon. I have a spare in my 86 sedan. The Bentley manual says you can not unplug the harness without destroying the one-way plug. If that is so, do I splice in,(cheat), a new ICM or remove each one with it's respective harness.

I'm trying to figure out what parts to buy for my 1985 245 front end. When I jack up the front wheels I get lots of play. I've read a bit about bearing adjustment, etc., but I don't think my play is bearing related.
