Car in question:  1995 Volvo 850 w/ Turbo
A couple months ago I got my ignition switch replaced by a very
reputable shop.  They specialize in foreign cars and seem to very
knowledgable with Volvos.

I've a V70 Classic (2000). The speaker in the right  front door sometimes
doesn't work. When I hit the door, it starts working again. Probably a loose
contact..?
Can anyone tell me how I can remove the speaker from the door?

Difficulty starting, especially in the cold.  Replaced plugs, wires,
cap and rotor, but still have issues.  When car does start, it will
run rough for the first 4 or 5 minutes, then will run fine.  Tried
starting this AM, car sputtered for a couple seconds and died .  I

2000 C70 convertible with 124,000 miles on a 2.4L engine with low
pressure turbocharger.   Suddenly began to smoke a *lot* out exhaust.
I've read how this could be the turbo or it could be the piston
rings.    There is a grinding noise on start up and the smoke starts

I've owned this car for 6 years and have all maintenance records and

just recently this 1993 850 manual 5 speed, with 160k miles on it, has
started leaking oil. I checked closely and it seems to be coming from a slot
between the engine and the clutch housing on the drivers' side. Any ideas
what it could be?

I've had a very difficult time trying to get my order sorted out with
them.  The double billed, then never delivered and now are giving me a
hard time about getting the billing reversed.  I've bought thousands of
dollars worth of Volvo parts mail order from multiple sources over ...

Is there any way to make the foglights automatically come on when the
car is started?
I like the look better with them on, and it is a nuisance to
constantly turn them on (I forget half the time).

I got a faceplate for my Pioneer DEH4400  radio, so it works
again...but the little speakers in the front doors sound no better
than a cheap transistor radio....bass is non-existent even with the
bass boosted all the way up. Looks like there are also two speakers on

If any one out there has a 1996 960 Volvo or any other related volvo
between 1992-1997 I have this great mechanic that has done wonders
with my car and also let me add that his charges are very affordable.
Yeah I have had everything and anything happen wrong to my car.

Im actually trying to find out what is the best thing to use to clean
the leather in my 1996 960.  My kids always make a huge mess but what
