Follow up to my saga of the replaced in-tank sending unit and no start. Up until now, no fuel to the engine, after I replaced the in-tank sending unit, fuel filter, main pump.

A friend gave me a well used 89 740 for my daughter's first car. It quit on him a few times and he parked it. I trailered it home and it started but ran rough. I replaced the plugs, wires, and the sensor on the back of the bell housing. It ran better but I still want to change

ok, my wife keeps running out of gas (duh) so i am ready to tackle this problem: the gas gauge works perfectly, as well as the digital readout (mpg,miles til empty,etc)

Looking for ideas on this one. Simuteanously (or even at the same time) heated seats, heater blower, AC, recirculation switch and heated rear window - ie. all the buttons above the radio have gone off. The indicator lights don't light and the switches are not functioning.

You have the big one over the slotted opening in the cowl, got that. If you remove the cowl on the pass side you have the big opening for the air intake. When I pulled my cowl off, there was a grill the size of that opening

Following up to my posts about my 1987 740 with the replaced sending unit and a no start: 1- I am getting power to the main pump. Pre-pump, still unknown power. With fuel line to main pump off, no fuel comes out of line while

Guess I have to move to Audi or BMW. The new V70 with the 3.2 I6, won't have a manual transmission available. Sad - love rowing the gears in the T5 .

We just had the 30K service on our '05 XC90, but the dealer apparently failed to disengage the service light which has just now kicked in. The dealer is 60 miles away, so if anyone can tell me how to disengage the service light (it's a computer message as well as an amber light on ...

1987 Volvo 740 GLE. I was told to check a main fuse under the hood. Where would this be? Specifically, one related to the fuel pump. Possibly 25amp. By the battery? What does it look like? Thanks!

I put a booster on my 87 turbo wagon the other day, it was obviously dead. I adjusted the piston to match the protrusion out of the original booster, so in theory that's correct.

Does anyone has any information about Ignition Control unit in Volvo 760, there is one main Transistor in Control Unit with No. 0011 2/10 which is not registered No. for Transistors. I am wondering whether it is possible to use similar transistor instead existing.
