| '98 V70 AWD rear brake pad | 10 Jul 2007 19:51 GMT | 21 |
I had a scraping sound coming from the right rear wheel when I pulled out of my driveway the other day and it appears that the pad behind the rotor is out of place. So, I will be pulling the wheel today to investigate further. The brake system appears to be disk, but I've

My 1995 850GLT has developed an intermittent coolant leak that appears to be coming from the connection point between the underside hose and the expansion tank. I have disconnected the hose and inspected it (it looks fine) and the expansion tank (also seemingly fine) and have

| 740 wagon transmission concern | 09 Jul 2007 04:01 GMT | 5 |
My Volvo 740 wagon has been shifting into 2nd and 3rd gears at a much higher RPM (about 4500 to 5000) lately, though not all the time. As it revs higher and higher, I can almost use the gas like a clutch and relase it quickly to get the engine to go into the next gear. However,

| No cranking, all of a sudden | 09 Jul 2007 03:39 GMT | 8 |
Just took my 91 740 wagon to the store. Went in. Came back out. Starter will not work. Nothing happens when I turn the key. A few gauges jump when I turn the key, but nothing else. The door chime rings with the door open, so I guess the battery did not die all of a sudden.
