I had my 97 850 T-5 with 200K miles at the Volvo dealer trying to run
down a problem where the engine sputters when the turbo starts to run
up. I am the second owner, taking over at 160K from the first owner. I
do not know when/where he had the timing belt done (assuming it was

Question:
OK, so my 2001 s80, non-turbo, "the sled" as it is named has a small
issue.  In the morning, every morning, my volvo will display "Coolant
Low, Stop Safely" as well as "Coolant Low, Stop Engine" and it is

Does anyone know the answer to the following two questions?
Can the cigarette lighter plug be made to stay on when the ignition is
turned off and the key removed - like most cars seem to be?

The ac blows cold while car is at idle but the faster the engine turns less
cold air is being produced. I have no leaks and correct amount of R134,  ANY
SUGGESTIONS.

I have a 1995 940 LPT estate with an LPG conversion. As a result there is an
LPG tank in the spare wheel well, as well as the spare wheel in the boot.
The result of this is that the back hangs down a little.
However when I pull our sailing dinghy and load the boot with all the

when I put the head gasket above the block, it is necessary, or useful,
to spread a anti-seize compound (like a copper grease) on the surface of

Replaced the pads, turned the rotors and replaced the RF caliper on my 86
740.  The brake warning light sometimes glows faintly.  Comes on full at
start. The faint glow goes away, and then returns.  No discernable pattern.
Any thoughts?

My AC works great as long as the outside temp. is below 85° F and I'm not
stuck in traffic then it blows warm air and usually will not resume cooling.
I bypassed the high temp switch but the problem continues.  I was told that
the clutch was worn and the entire compressor had to ...
