-- My 1995 850 wagon with 170,000 miles has a leaky head gasket, a

local Volvo dealer.  It has been a pretty trouble free car till now,
but this is a pretty expensive repair.  We had hoped to get 250,000 or
740 or 240?31 Aug 2007 02:21 GMT8
Evening fellas,
I love all of the RWD series volvos. I've heard that the 240's are
more reliable than the 740/760. Is there any truth to this? Only
trying to narrow down the choices, but I like them both so it makes it
still misfiring...30 Aug 2007 17:54 GMT3
Hi, I have a 91/940 with B204E engine, recently self made converted to
catalysed by adding a Lambda Sond using pre-wired connectors and
replacing the air mass meter and ecu with a B234F one.
I have the car from about 3 years, and always misfire.

Would a simple swap of head and cam "upgrade" it?

late-model dealer certified car with some portion of the original

2000 S40 w/no tail lights27 Aug 2007 01:02 GMT1
The tail lights on my 2000 S40 have stopped working.  The brake lights, rear
fog light, turn signals etc. all still work.  I suspect that it is the
headlight switch, but would welcome any other ideas.
TIA
