I am in the South UK with one of the above which sounds like it has an
intermittent misfire... cold cranking current is pretty even across all
cylinders so I am wondering if it is a poor injector spray pattern and time
for an injector overhaul ( 165,000 miles ) ?

Occasionaly my radio loses power when I apply the brakes on my 1996 850
turbo.  Has anyone else experienced this problem.  Is there a simple

I have a 740 with no heat.  This past weekend I dissembled the console
enough to remove a radio a prior owner had installed, I also took this
opportunity to examine the slider control which goes from cold (left)
to warm (right) to see why it has no apparent effect.

V50 2005.. standard tires, not AWD. This car has been noisy since new.
It has an irritating low rumble at low speeds, under 30MPH, on fairly

Have a new NTK sensor.  The sensor is just behind the turbo, and it
projects downward through a metal shroud.  There is only about enough
clearance, once shroud is removed, for a 4 in. open-end.  IE, there is

noticed a very small leak in the transmission. I asked him to replace
the gasket and he said there is no gasket and that the entire
transmission would have to be replaced and that the leak is too small

I've insured my Volvos with Volvo Owners Insurance (administered by Royal
and Sun Alliance) for a number of years - but am going elsewhere this year
because they have hyped up the premium and imposed an excess on glass damage
for the first time in living memory.

I would like to pull a 4x8 trailer with my 740 turbo wagon.  So first
step is install the hitch. I would prefer to save some $$$ installing
it myself.  It needs to bolt on, no welding needed.  The trailer I am
getting is rated for 1000 lbs max. I don't think I should go over half

I've got to replace the plastic trim (the section you grab to close the
door) on the drivers door of an 86-760 wagon.  I've got no idea how to
remove the inside door panel to get the section out.      Also, the electric
seat control box is not working and the Volvo dealership ...
