OK folks, I've read here and other sites about the traditional turbo

Now my question: is it worth fixing? Is that a DIY job Personal

Interchangeability of Volvo rims28 Nov 2007 18:42 GMT6
It's winter season here now (hurray, snow driving!) and I have a full
set of 15" steelies with new snows left over from my 240. My 1995
850GLE has 16" rims and it *is* a bit lowered. Other than clearance
can anyone think of why I might choose not to put these rims/tires on

I replaced the coolant sensor in my overflow tank (simple deal -- just
snaps in) but the coolant level warning light is still on.
I disconnected the battery as well.
Any ideas?

All new Volvo V70 and XC70 are due for a recall.

This goes for all 18.000 sold cars worldwide.
At the same time I hear, Volvo drops the models S40 and V50.

S 80 T 6 low compression at 75K miles22 Nov 2007 18:43 GMT2
My wife's 2004 S-80 T6 (she likes the option to go when needed) was

the technician just brought it home saying that the compression in one
cylinder is 80 while the other 5 are around 130. He suggested that the
98 S70 CV noise22 Nov 2007 04:32 GMT2
My 98 S70 has developed a low speed thumping noise from the right front.
The noise changes to a constant growl as the speed increases.  No vibration
is felt in the steering wheel.
I suspect a worn CV.  Is this a typical noise from a bad CV, or should I be

Antifreeze for a '95 Volvo 96021 Nov 2007 01:20 GMT7
What antifreeze should I put into this thing? AIUI, they're somewhat
