Here's an odd one for the group. My idiot lights are coming on when I
accelerate fast. Not when I slowly step on the gas, and total speed
doesn't seem to matter, just acceleration. If the lights go on, they
stay on until I step off the gas.

My 1995 850GLT had the dashboard "SERVICE" light on so I figured I'd
check ALL the codes while I was resetting it. I went through the code
checking and clearing procedure for every socket on the

Well crap...my odometer quit working on my 93 940 turbo wagon with 205,000 miles on it....can they be repaired?....or do they have to be replaced?......thanks

It's time to let the 240 rest up after 447,865 miles of faithful
service. I'm considering a 00-02 V70 or a 96-98 960 wagon. Any
thoughts or preferences. Any particular weaknesses.

About a week back the engine would turn over, but no ignition.
Eventually it did start and I dismissed it as a one-off.
Turns out the car is getting tetchy with cooler weather. I notice the
indicator lights across bottom of instrument panel do not come on when

I have a 1997 2.5 TDi V70 (diesel), approx 168,000 miles, and wondered what
the symptoms are if the mass air sensor is failing.
Do they get dirty and need cleaning ?
