Here in the Northwest we have had so much rain that my 93 940 turbo SW has a leak somewhere on the drivers side
 I have about 1 inch of water on the floorboard...and whouldn't you know it my sunroof doesn't open....so I'm thinking if I silicone around the sunroof it might help?.. ...

With some time and skill, can either/both of these be done by the Volvo
owner?
I don't have any specific Volvo 'specialty' tools, but I have every wrench
possible, air tools, several torque wrenches etc.

I've noticed recently that my car's temperature gauge doesn't climb
quickly up to "straight up" and stay there.
This winter (London, fairly mild:  2 to 10 deg C (not freezing)) it

Now that I'm looking for another 940 I'm finding cars  that
may be in pretty good condition mechanically but many times
the interiors especially the drivers seat is very worn.
A coworker had his nissan seats recovered with a replacement kit.

Hi friends,
Can anyone advise me how the Volvo 850 station or V70 compares with
LPG or diesel. I'm used to driving an 850 station on LPG, I'm really
satisfied, but have the impression that the mileage is getting worse.

Well I've taken the plunge and bought a 1996 850R, so far so good, and it
goes like snow off a shovel, everything works and comes with a nice
comprehensive service history. I might get to hack it down to the south of
France this summer (it will make putting up with the 'in laws' ...

I finished parting together a Frankenvolvo for my daughter who
pretty much totalled the base car (1992 740 wagon) using parts from my
buddy's 1994 940 wagon which wouldn't pass emissions and was pronounced "not
worth fixing".
