Could someone please tell me how to turn off the service required light? The manual explains the reason for the light and states that it will be turned off by the servicing dealer at the time of servicing........... but not how to do it if they forget!

I need to top-up the oil in the auto gearbox of my 960 2.3 turbo, I can't find anywhere under the bonnet to add the oil. What oil do I need? This is my first automatic car so please excuse the dumb questions;c) Steve H

While driving the old road along the river other night, in nasty driving rain, there was a major problem with our 1996 Volvo 960. Perhaps when the car did the bumps at the railroad crossing, the upper nipple to the radiator broke completely free. Darn plastic!

I have a 73 142 with manual steering and the steering wheel has slowly developed about 2and a half inches of play. I've checked the rubber bushings and they are good. That leaves the steering box I guess. Can I adjust the box at all? Can I buy a rebuilt one?

I have a cracked oil pan , due to going over a drainage dip in a road. Only a very slight bump and ..POW!! $1000 repair.. I think that either the pan is too weak to sustain slight abrasion or the suspension sucks or Volvo need to add protection. Any comments please?
